🎨 Interior Decorating

My favourite room is the sitting room. I always lie on the sofa to watch television. I can really relax in front of the box. Or I take a book from the bookcase and read for a few hours. As long as I have a nice glass of wine on the coffee table there's nothing in the world that I like better. My wife doesn't really enjoy this. She has to sit in the armchair all evening and leave me alone.

I prefer the kitchen. I'd do anything to cook a nice meal. I'm lucky to have a fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker, oven, fridge, freezer and lots of cupboards. I couldn't live without them. But my husband and children could. The only things they ever use in the kitchen are the microwave and the coffee machine. They don't even know how to start the dishwasher. They just put their plates and cups in the sink and they're off again... to their bedrooms or study.
I just don't understand. I could easily live in the kitchen. It's the heart of the house! I can sit at the kitchen table for hours, just reading magazines or listening to the radio.

My favourite room is the bathroom. I'm 16 years old and I often go out at the weekend. Before I leave I mostly occupy the bathroom for a couple of hours. I first lie in the bathtub for at least half an hour. Only when I haven't got much time I take a shower. Then I stand in front of the mirror to brush my hair and do my make-up. My mother always nags that my stuff is all over the washbasin. What else can I do? The cabinet and shelves are way too small to store everything. The only thing I don't like about the bathroom is that, whenever I'm in there, my brother has to use the toilet.

There's no question about it! My bedroom is the best room in the house. At the weekend I seldom leave my room. Why should I? I've got all that I need in there! My lovely bed and bedside table are always full of sweets and crisps. I can lie there all day and listen to my favourite CDs or I play some games on Playstation. I have my own television too. The walls are filled with posters and pictures of my girl ;-). And I have all my rugby trophies on the shelves. They remind me of how good I am. The wardrobe is the only problem. It looks like a real dump in there... one big mess. I can never find the clothes I'm looking for.
