🍳 Kitchen & Houses

My name is Steven Adams. I live in Montreal, Canada. I work as a sales manager for a local electronics company. I'm married and my wife and I have three children.
We live in a large detached house just outside the city centre. The house has got a big hall, a living room, a modern kitchen, a utility room and four bedrooms. I use one of the bedrooms as my study. The children often play in the hobby room in the attic. There are two bathrooms and an extra toilet. The house has got two garages. That's really necessary because I have a Land Rover and my wife drives a Mini Cooper.
In summer we usually sit on the terrace and the children play in the garden. They don't like staying in the house when it's hot.

Hello, I'm Helen Anderton. I own a spacious terraced house in Manchester, England. I'm a bartender in a nightclub. I'm still single but my sister stays with me. She studies at the University of Manchester.
I really love my house. There are two floors. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, a bathroom, a toilet and a study for my sister. On the ground floor there's another toilet in the hall. The kitchen is small but big enough for the two of us. We mostly sit in the living room. It has a very cosy sitting area. Oh yes... there is a cellar too, but I don't have an attic.

We're the Rodriguez family. I'm Fred and my wife is called Vanessa. We have two grown-up sons who still live with us but one of them often goes to his girlfriend's house.
We're from a place near San Antonio in the great state of Texas, USA. We live in the countryside and work on our farm, or as we call it, our ranch. It's a very big estate. The house has got a large dining room, a sitting room, a fully equipped kitchen, a storage room and a toilet. Upstairs there are five bedrooms, two bathrooms and an extra toilet.

Rebecca Donovan is my name. I come from Melbourne, Australia. My boyfriend Bruce and I own a surfers' club on the beach. We live in a bungalow close to the club. The place is not very big but that's not a problem. We are always at the club, so we don't really have time to sit in the house.

The building has two large dining rooms, a sitting room, an enormous kitchen and a conservatory. Even the hall is like a living room.
There are six bedrooms, two studies and a library. There are four toilets. The attic looks like a ballroom. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. I sometimes think: "Do I really need all this?"
At the other end of the garden there is a guest house, but I never go there.
